HUMEN is a movement to improve and maintain men's mental health through campaigning and The HUMEN Space. Anonymous. preventative. and non-clinical spaces for men to talk. listen and connect on a regular basis. 75% of all UK suicides are male. The right to talk should never be a privilege.
On November 28th 2021 Humen are asking you to Rise Against Suicide and join them on their Sunrise Walk challenge. 3 out of 4 suicides in the UK are male and 4.657 men died by suicide in 2020 – the length of the Rise Against Suicide Sunrise Walk challenge thus designed to represent those lost over the past year.
The HUMEN Charity Rise Against Suicide Sunrise Walk is a 4.657-metre challenge across the UK to inspire more men to get active and talk. At sunrise on 28th November. sponsored groups across the country will walk just under 5k. a metre for each man lost to suicide every year. each family left empty.
The campaign initiative will take place in major cities across the UK on November 28th. 2021. and supporters can sign up and start fundraising now.
